Home Information Packs

From the 1 August 2007, all homes with four or more bedrooms have required a home information pack (HIP) and on 10 September 2007 this was extended to include three bedroom properties.

How can we help? What does is it cost?

If Paul Airey Chartered Surveyors are instructured to sell your home:

• We will order the HIP on your behalf.
• We have dedicated Independent Energy Inspectors who will provide the energy certificate for your home.
• We will guide you through the process so that you know exactly what is required and exactly what the HIP will cost for your home.
• Our staff will be available to answer any queries you may have.
• Even if your home does not require a HIP, why not consider having one anyway, giving you an advantage over other properties.
