Over the last few years the word community has been used less and less with the development of technology. You don't have to go anywhere anymore to shop or see new things, you can do that from home. We've been thinking of new ways to bring the people of Sunderland back together like it was in the past.

What about every Wednesday, a market is held on Sunniside, giving local businesses the chance to offer exciting discounts?

On this specific day, we think that there should be parking reductions and reduced travel fares to bring people back into our city centre, to experience the way life should be.
